The Fund’s investment manager is Montgomery Investment Management Pty Ltd. The fund’s sub-investment manager is Polen Capital Management, LLC. Fund’s objective is to outperform the MSCI ACWI SMID Cap Net Total Return Index, in Australian Dollars, over a rolling five-year period, net of fees. The Polen Capital Global Small and Mid Cap Fund is a long only, small and mid cap global equities fund. The Fund typically invests in a concentrated portfolio of 40-60 high-quality companies within the global small and mid cap company universe.

With regard to Polen Capital Global Small and Mid Cap Fund (ARSN 652 035 642) (Fund) issued by Fundhost Limited (ABN 69 092 517 087) (AFSL 233045) (Fundhost) under the Product Disclosure Statement dated 30 September 2022 (PDS), as updated from time to time, Fundhost would like to advise that the purpose of this notice is to provide updated information pursuant to ASIC Corporations (Updated Product Disclosure Statements) Instrument 2016/1055 which is not materially adverse to investors in the Fund under the PDS. While these changes are not considered to be materially adverse to investors, they should be taken into account when making a decision to invest under the PDS.

Polen Capital has recently made strategic changes to the investment management team for the Fund.

Greg McIntire has been replaced by Maneesh Singhal, CFA as the Lead Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining Polen Capital, Maneesh gained experience at Lord, Abeth & Co, American Century Investments and more recently at CastleArk Management, where was Co-Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst.  Maneesh has a B.A. in Biology and Economics from University of Pennsylvania and is a CFA Charterholder.

The Polen Capital Small and Mid Cap Growth team comprises seven Portfolio Managers and Analysts, all based out of Polen Capital’s Boston office. Rayna Lesser Hannaway CFA is Head of Team, Portfolio Manager & Analyst.  Rayna has 28 years’ experience and joined Polen Capital in 2017.  Previously, Rayna spent nine years in portfolio management and two years as research analyst at Fidelity Investments in Boston, evaluating small and mid cap companies.  She received a B.A in Economics from Barnard College, a division of Columbia University, is a CFA Charterholder, and holds a CFA Institute Certificate in ESG investing.

The Polen Capital Small and Mid Cap Growth team access and share ideas with the Polen Capital Global Emerging Market Growth team, which is based out of London and Hong Kong.

The Fund will now invest in 40-60 high-quality companies from a universe of 8,000 global small and mid-cap company stocks.

Both Polen and Montgomery Investment Management believe these changes will be advantageous to investors in the Fund.

This Fund is intended for applicants as a satellite allocation (up to 10%) of their total investment portfolio as set out in the target market determination for the Fund.
